It's historical reserve 'cos of it's old (over 100 years) houses in which people still live. Our house for example is over 120 years old and is in perfect condtion although we used it only as villa now.
As a child I used to hate this place. I've to spent at least 3 weeks there every summer and this is the place where a child can really die of bordom. But this time it was diffrent. I'ven't been there for over 2 years and before that I've not visit it for another 5. On the top of this now I've a camera in my hands. So rock and roll happen :)

These two pics are my fav. This is an old house on the main "street" of the village.

Next 4 are from so called "down part" of the village

And this is on the river bank

This is a mill stone. Once upon a time my father's parents had a mill. My father said this stone once had been part of our mill.

I love this - it's a wild apple. No pesticides, no poisons. This I call bio food ;)
Next 7 sights u'll see are on our way to the river.

An old hayloft

One of the hotels in Kovatchevitsa. See even hotels looks like the old houses.

I found these apples on the side board in our yard. I think they are beautiful :)

And this is the most fantastic grill u've ever seen. A flat stone is used to bake on. This flat stone is called "tikla" and usually is used as roof-tile. As u may 've notice already there are no ordinary tiles on the roofs of Kovatchevitsa :)

And this is the back of our front yard door.

Some houses

I found this in our neighbours' yard. I 've no idea for what it had been used.

And this is the back of our house shot from our neighbours' yard.

Another unknown house to me.

Some more pics from the "down part" of the village

And panoramic view. Made from the cemetery over the village.

On one of the hills over the village there is a chapel called "St. Gorge". U'll find next 21 sights on ur walk to it. They are messed here so u won't see them in this order :)

And this is one of our back yard doors.

This is the hayloft that was still in used 5 years ago.

And this is the road from the main "street" to our house.

This has nothing with Kovatchevista. I shot them while traveling to Kovachevitsa. They are shot while the car was going so don't jangle me for the bluring front line.
